Prayer Tree
Many times throughout the year, parishioners experience hardships such as serious illness, accident, or a family member in peril. The Prayer Tree is a space in the weekly bulletin for people to pray for those in need. If you would like your prayer requests listed in the bulletin.

CYO Sports
The St. Joseph Parish CYO Sports program provides opportunities for the youth of St. Joseph Parish and St. Joseph School to participate in various sports activities in a safe, well organized, and properly supervised program; and to develop skills, self discipline, and attitudes of sportsmanship based on the Christian principles of fair play and teamwork. Identifies the spiritual needs and relevant faith and justice issues of our community; reviews, reflects and recommends programs to deepen the faith experiences of each individual while fostering a strong and vibrant community.
Saint John's Children's Ministry
Alleluia! Jesus lives. And, through our baptism, He lives in each of us also. What a great privilege it was to celebrate this new life that we have in Christ at the New Life Festival just one month ago. So many gave their time and talents to this awesome out-reach event—there were over seventy volunteers. Wow!
Clothing / Food-St. John's Lutheran Church
Food and clothing are supplied to individuals requesting them at no cost. Food is provided on a short term basis. Except in emergency cases, recipients must have Food Stamp card. A social security number is also requested on the form. Individuals asking for clothing and food are limited to one visit per month. Occasionally has cleaning and hygiene products.
Travel Training - The Easy Rider Program
The Easy Rider Program is a, comprehensive one-on-one travel training program, available in Boulder County, designed to teach older adults and people with disabilities how to safely and confidently use public transportation to expand independent travel options. Training techniques are adapted based on an individual's abilities and assist in overcoming any barriers to riding the bus.
New facility gets started with a solid foundation
After the drilling and placement of 168 caissons during February and March, the first walls in Special Transit’s new facility were formed and then poured in late March. The walls for a stairwell in southwest corner of the building were the first to take a visible shape, followed by another stairwell and elevator shaft in the north end of the building.
Volunteer Opportunities - Special Olympics Colorado
Colorado Special Olympics offers year-round sports training and athletic competition to people with developmental disabilities (mental retardation), 8 years of age and older, in 22 different sports. Volunteer opportunities are almost endless. If there is a service, time or talent that you can offer, we can almost always put you to good use.
